![]() ![]() The box for the toy itself is then what I’ve grown to expect from the premium sex toy brand, arriving in a luxury box featuring images of the product and plenty of information on what it can do. Since my We-Vibe Ditto+ was sent directly to me by the manufacturer, I won’t go into the shipping details. Finally, the toy is also fully waterproof, made entirely of body-safe silicone, and USB rechargeable. On the outside of the Ditto+’s base, you’ll then find the toy’s single button (it can also be controlled via the remote and app), the metal plates for the magnetic charger to connect to, and the We-Vibe logo. Plus, to make matters worse, there is a prominent seam that runs around the toy and legal writing, such as the model number, on the inside of the toy’s base, which is not ideal for keeping things clean. These small marks, while they won’t affect use, are quite off-putting and not appropriate for a luxury toy in my opinion. Although I love this, it seems to accentuate a number of manufacturing flaws across the Ditto+’s body, similar to what I experienced with my We-Vibe Nova 2. My particular Ditto+ is in We-Vibe’s pink, which uses a shimmery pigment for a touch of sparkle, and while the toy also comes in black I am unsure if this is also shimmery. You’ll then find a thin flexible neck at the end of the insertable portion, and after this is a wide T-bar style base, which is my personal favourite in regards to both comfort and security. Also unusual is that one side is entirely flat, another change that will create a more comfortable experience for those just getting started on their anal journey. As is appropriate for its audience, it is fairly slim, with a maximum diameter of just 1.26″ / 3.2cm and a length of 3.5″ / 8.8cm, and its tapered body also works to make insertion far easier than traditional butt plug designs. The We-Vibe Ditto+ is a vibrating butt plug that is intended for beginners to anal play, and a product I feel there is not enough of in the luxury toy market. But, unless you found this an issue, it seems the Ditto+ is really just a minor refresh of the original design, and not something you need to rebuy if you already have one. As for the toy itself, it seems to be pretty much identical, except for two new colours and a rearrangement of its in-built ten vibration modes, with the four steady speeds now being together rather than separated by patterns, a move that I’m sure would have infuriated me if I ever reviewed the OG Ditto. However, other than its appearance, I can’t find anything that makes this more “advanced” remote truly any different from the old one. It seems the popular brand has finally left behind their classic white plastic remote for a discreet black silicone version that looks similar to the We-Vibe Touch X’s control system. But according to We-Vibe, the Ditto+’s upgrade is primarily related to the included remote. ![]() Since I don’t have the original Ditto, I won’t be comparing the two in this review. So when Lovehoney Group (who recently acquired We-Vibe) reached out to let me know they’d be releasing an upgraded version, the Ditto+, this August, I couldn’t have said yes to a review faster. We-Vibe are the makers of many of my favourite sex toys, from the Tango X and Touch X, to the Nova 2 and Melt, and their beginner’s friendly and app-compatible Ditto was another success that I just never got round to trying. Plus, today’s review isn’t on any old butt plug, but a toy I’ve been after ever since it was originally announced back in 2017. Anal Toys, Reviews, Silicone, USB Rechargeable, We-Vibe Review: We-Vibe Ditto+Īnal August may be over, but that doesn’t mean the love for this form of play has to end! After all, without anal toys I might not be here, with my blog starting out primarily reviewing butt plugs, and my Beginner’s Guide still being one of the most popular posts at Princess Previews. ![]()
